If you’ve seen House of Guinness, you know Rafferty usually solves his problems with threats and physical violence, so expect that in all of his bots too. He’s deeply tied to the family, and right now, you’re the newcomer. He doesn’t like that, or you, one bit. You’ll have to earn it. And before that, expect to be belittled and insulted.

The Story:

Sean Rafferty is many things: the Guinness family’s all-purpose fixer, warehouse foreman, bodyguard to the top brass, and iron-fisted enforcer, with a stance as square as his jaw and a punch as stout as the stout he’s protecting. He can be the loyal servant in a fine suit just as easily as the fist that bloodies the hem of his own shirt, all in the name of the family.

But he isn’t the only one they’ve got in their pocket. The family needs advisors too. When Sean is the brawn, they still need brains working in the shadows, and that’s where you come in. You’re some kind of lawyer, and Sean’s been informed that you’ll be working together. He hates it. The idea. You. Your pristine suit and annoyingly perfect hair. He doesn’t think you’re built for the kind of work he does, and he certainly doesn’t think he needs a partner.

But what the Guinness family wants, they get. So he obliges and takes you outside Dublin for your first task. The brewery needs exclusive rights to a canal route to expedite exports to New York. A stubborn landowner controls the key access point and refuses to sell or lease it. You two are going to convince him that not selling is a very bad idea.

What?

You’re a new hire, working as a shadow lawyer for the Guinness family, brought in to support the enforcer where fists alone can’t change minds. But he doesn’t want help, especially not from someone like you. Still, he follows orders and takes you along on a job, hoping it’ll prove you’re not cut out for this kind of life, and that you’ll off right after.

This bot has two opening messages, which are mostly the same at the start but end slightly differently.

First Message: You wait in a carriage outside that takes you to a job outside Dublin, where you have a one‐on‐one with Sean and can immediately show off your abilities.

Second Message: You get the chance to introduce yourself in a less hurried setting, with an enthusiastic Edward Guinness and a reluctant Rafferty in the brewery’s office.

Who?

You also work for the family as a kind of devil’s advocate, someone who knows the law like the back of their hand and advises the Guinness family on all legal matters. You have an important father and were educated at Dublin University, known for your pristine suits and venomous words. Your exact background, how much money you have, who your father is, where you live, isn’t hard-coded, so feel free to personalize it however you like ;)

A lil Role-Play Advice:

The idea behind this bot is to introduce you two, so feel free to act that out however you like. But if you need a little inspiration, I’ve got you covered:

Use your words. You’re a lawyer, maybe even squeamish about blood, but you pride yourself on being able to twist any man without laying a finger. So go ahead: threaten like a viper and cement yourself as Sean’s new right hand. Make him understand why having you close is better than the alternative.

Show you can get your hands dirty too. Sure, you’re a lawyer, and words are your weapon in court, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use force behind closed doors. Sean thinks you don’t know what needs to be done? Prove him wrong. Show him you’re not so different.

Use Sean. Work with him like you were born to do it. Why rely only on words when fists are within reach? You don’t need to swing them yourself, jusr command them. Show Sean you’re not competing for power. You’re here to share it. Complement him where he’s lacking, and let him be the muscle when needed.

A new series set in a specific time period, you say? With hot men in hats and suits? MADE BY THE CREATORS OF PEAKY BLINDERS, YOU SAY?! What better way to slowly fill the space Thomas left behind (even though there might still be some bots coming for him xD) than with someone from the new series House of Guinness? And why go for the main characters when THAT GUY exists?!

What do you mean he’s a servant, foreman, enforcer, and gives smutty cuddles when the family needs them, all in ONE person, and he plays the violin?! Yeah, I’ve got a 10–12 bot series planned for this guy. This is just the beginning, so buckle up and hop in if this is your vibe, because there’s more coming. We’ll see how far off canon it gets though, usually I make bots for shows that are already finished, and this one only has one season with eight episodes. But hey, we’ll see :P

PICTURE PROBLEM: As already happened with a prior Carmen bot (and the Carmen bot I wanted to post instead of this one), the picture for Rafferty was recognized as “a real person” again and blocked. Same as last time, I’ve reached out to the Janitor team, hoping to get that fixed and dealt with. Until then, I’ll let his chibi be the PFP, but I’m PRAYING it gets fixed quickly and that all of his other pictures go through as well (I will notify you via the janitor feature once iT's through!). I have literally 10+ bots planned, and I don’t want to use chibis for all of them, because for me personally, it totally ruins the immersion :/

UPDATE: Seemingly the picture got fixed, but I don’t know when or how, since I never had any contact with the mods, no answer to my Discord thread nor the email I sent to support. I just tried again to see if their constant work on the picture filter did anything, and apparently it did..? Which is great! My only problem is that I don’t know if this means pictures for all my bots with actor images are okay again, or if this one just got lucky o_O. If you see his chibi pop up in the PFP again, you’ll know it’s because another picture was blocked. I keep having the same issue with Carmen too, sooo... there’s that :/
