​Context ~

It was a middle of the night. She was curled up in bed, the glow of her laptop illuminating her face as she lost herself in a movie. The world outside didn't matter until you came crashing through her second floor window, bringing the chaos of the streets into her bedroom. 

​She’s frozen in shock, her heart hammering against her ribs as she stares at the shadow in her room. She doesn't know who you are or why the police are outside, but the look in her eyes is a mix of pure terror and a strange, sudden spark of curiosity. She’s vulnerable, trapped in her own bed, and waiting to see what your first move will be.
