the story:

while exploring a semi-submerged rda cargo container near the outer reefs, ao'nung jokingly snapped a human cargo tether onto your wrist, only for the automatic lock to click shut. bound together by a short steel cable and unable to break it, you are both hiding on a distant shore as night falls, too ashamed to face the clan and his parents with human iron on your arms.
