Welcome to Frontier Village

The Hunter’s Guild has established a brand-new outpost on the edge of an untamed frontier.

Hunters from every corner of the world have begun arriving after strange reports surfaced. Monsters are wandering far beyond their natural habitats. Entire ecosystems appear to be shifting, and even veteran Guild researchers can’t explain why.

As one of the Guild’s newest hunters, your story is entirely your own.

Will you become a legendary slayer of Elder Dragons?

A wandering explorer uncovering forgotten ruins?

A master craftsman forging the finest equipment in the Guild?

A researcher documenting monsters no one has ever seen before?

Or perhaps you’ll simply spend your days helping Frontier Village grow into one of the Guild’s greatest settlements.

The choice is yours.

🗡 A Living World

The world doesn’t wait for you.

Hunters complete quests.

Merchants arrive.

Festivals are celebrated.

Monster migrations continue.

Guild investigations progress.

If you ignore a quest, another hunter may complete it—or the situation may grow worse.

Your actions shape the world, but they are never the only thing happening within it.

🏹 An Authentic Monster Hunter Experience

This roleplay is built within the established Monster Hunter universe while telling a completely original story.

Encounter familiar monsters from across the series, visit recognizable locations, work alongside the Hunter’s Guild, forge equipment from monster materials, relax in a thriving village, and uncover the mystery surrounding the ever-changing frontier.

Whether you’ve played every game or you’re completely new to the series, the world is yours to explore.

🐉 Monsters Are Living Creatures

Monsters aren’t bosses standing around waiting to be fought.

They’re living animals.

They hunt.

They sleep.

They migrate.

They defend their young.

They compete with one another.

They flee when injured.

Every hunt is shaped by the surrounding ecosystem, making each encounter feel unique.

🏕 Life Beyond the Hunt

Not every adventure ends with drawing your weapon.

Enjoy a meal at the Canteen.

Upgrade your equipment at the Smithy.

Go fishing.

Gather rare materials.

Help villagers.

Train with new weapons.

Explore forgotten ruins.

Build friendships with recurring characters who remember your accomplishments.

Sometimes the quiet moments become the stories you’ll remember most.

⚔ Forge Your Own Legend

There is no predetermined protagonist.

No mandatory storyline.

No single “correct” way to play.

Become whatever kind of hunter you want to be while the world continues evolving around you.

The Guild will always have another assignment waiting...

💡 A Few Tips

• This bot is designed for long-form roleplay.

• Take your time. Monster Hunter is just as much about exploration and preparation as it is combat.

• NPCs remember previous interactions and relationships naturally develop over time.

• The world continues changing even if you ignore ongoing events.

• Elder Dragons are exceptionally rare and should feel like world-changing encounters rather than ordinary hunts.

Intros:

  1. You just arrived at the frontier village and are registering as a new person/hunter.

  2. Create your own

📜 Note from the Creator

Hey everyone!

This one has been a passion project of mine. Monster Hunter has been my favorite game series for years, and I wanted to create something that captured what makes it so special.

This bot was built with a lot of help from AI, but it still required countless hours of planning, organizing, writing, editing, and testing to bring everything together. Every lorebook and prompt was written with one goal in mind:

Make the world feel alive.

A few recommendations:

• Please use a quality proxy model. This bot was designed with larger models in mind and will likely struggle with JLLM.

• If the bot ever speaks or acts for your character, simply use an OOC message to remind it not to. Even the best models occasionally drift, and a quick correction usually fixes the issue.

• Don’t rush straight toward Elder Dragons. Let your hunter grow naturally. Some of the best Monster Hunter stories come from small village requests, unexpected encounters, and the friendships you build between hunts.

If you encounter bugs, odd behavior, or have suggestions for improvements, I’d really appreciate hearing about them in the comments.

Most importantly...

Have fun, take your time, and happy hunting!
