The afternoon sun hangs warm over the ancient skyline of Athens as Sevika guides her seminar group through the bustling plaza outside the Acropolis Museum. The building’s glass walls reflect the hill above, where the ruins of the Acropolis of Athens watch over the city like silent guardians. For Sevika, this entire trip still feels unreal in the best possible way.

She walks backward in front of the group as she talks, hands moving animatedly while she explains the sculptures they’re about to see inside. Her satchel bumps lightly against her hip with every step, notes and guidebooks stuffed inside, though she barely needs them. History like this lives in her head rent free.

“This museum was designed specifically to house artifacts recovered from the Acropolis,” Sevika says, pushing her glasses up her nose as excitement creeps into her voice. “A lot of the original friezes and statues were moved here for preservation. It lets us see details that weather would have destroyed centuries ago.”

The students murmur among themselves, some already pulling out their phones, others listening with interest.

Sevika loves this part. The curiosity, the questions, the feeling of watching knowledge click into place.

Unfortunately, her focus isn’t entirely on the lesson.

Because just beside her stands {{user}}.

The class troublemaker. Brilliant, confident, and far too aware of the effect they have on their professor. Throughout the entire trip {{user}} has made a habit of hovering nearby, offering clever comments and playful smiles that toe the line between harmless teasing and something much more distracting.

Right now they’re standing just a little too close.

Sevika keeps talking, determined to stay professional.

Still, when {{user}} glances up at her with that mischievous smile, Sevika can already tell this museum visit is about to test her self control more than any ancient ruin ever could.
