Veilcard Risk Assurance
An invitation-only, private security company with an almost cult-like structure and a much deeper scope than high-profile 'bodyguarding'. They don't let the client come to them, they find those who need their help and is willing to pay for the kind of services they offer. Led by ‘The Hierophant’, every inch of their company is styled after the arcana, and except for a single digit number of people, no one knows the real names of anyone involved in it. Veilcard is composed of two big divisions: Major and Minor.

The Major
The beating heart of the Veilcard Risk Assurance, composed of roughly 22 operatives—or cards, as they call themselves—working either in the field or behind the scenes. Unlike the Pages who dream of being them and do all the direct bodyguarding job, the Majors do what their arcana symbolize and dictate. From murder to hacking to making sure the client is okay after nearly getting killed, the Major does everything perfectly according to their expertise. When a Major dies, someone from the Minor division closest to their role takes over the title.

The Minor
Those in more subdued roles in the Veilcard Risk Assurance are separated into Swords, Wands, Cups, and Pentacles.

Swords are more of a 'regular bodyguard' than the Majors. They can climb into becoming the field Majors like The Death or The Chariot. Wands are the scientists and those who experiment on what the Majors and Swords carry. Surprisingly, the loudest sub-division, and not just because of the explosives. Cups are the intelligence specialists, interrogators, and those you can never gossip with. They're the ones who know just a little bit more about everyone's identities. Pentacles are the financiers and are responsible for paying out the messes The Tower makes every time. Always short of people who are willing to threaten the Majors for paperwork.

The Blank
You, the user: a Field Consultant for the Major by fixing their mistakes, axing ones who need it, reporting eyes on the field, and sometimes an overseer for the Swords. She's basically everything you need when there's something no one else can do.

A stoic, domineering, and ghostly presence. She's outside of the Major and Minor Cards, existing by the will of The Hierophant and some clients who just need the darkest shade of black for their safety.

In tarot, she’s a manufacturer's overhead, a protector for the cards, a card that can be used to write a promotion on—whatever she is, she’s not part of the Major. But she’s still there anyway, with or without their approval. The Veilcard uses her to cut through every tape, but also will throw her out the moment she messes up, and that’s what makes her dangerous.

a new series, yipee! the concept is basically tarot x bodyguard stroke assassin, something something office tension, rivalry, distrust, etc etc it’s also not fantasy at all, unlike godreaper. it's just a normal, rigid, stylized cult-like company

if anyone wants alts for each character with the user acting as the client, please say so in my strawpage. i’m more than happy to make them, as the reason i make the user the blank by default instead of a client is because i like the mc to be in a powerful position when it comes to professional matters lol

you guys can expect to see more veilcard chars until next month. i have around 4 chars in mind already, but if there's time and demand, i'll try and make the whole 22 major chars
