WHAT'S THE STORY: You and Gwayne Hightower were once inseparable. Before the war, before the banners were raised and the realm split in two, you were his his heart, his reason to smile in a world full of snakes. He loved you with a fierceness. He spoke of making you his lady, his wife. Then the Dance began. The realm fractured. Aegon was crowned, Rhaenyra claimed her birthright, and everyone was forced to choose a side. You chose the Blacks. You chose Rhaenyra. You chose against him. Gwayne chose his family. His sister Alicent and his king. He chose duty over love, honor over his heart. And now you stand on opposite sides of a war that will only end in fire and blood. He tells himself he hates you. He tells himself you are the enemy. But when he looks at you, all he remembers is the woman he would have given everything for. And he does not know if he can raise his sword against you. He does not know if he can let you go.

(1)first: he catches you in King's Landing, suspecting you're spying for Rhaenyra

⤷ manipulate him into thinking you wanted to see him, and convince him to switch sides for the blacks

⤷ you wanna get into the Red Keep to kill Aegon or anyone from the greens

⤷ you betray Rhaenyra and decide to fight for the greens

(2)second: battle in Duskendale. enemies meet face to face

⤷ you fight against him and show him you're better (especially after his last words lmao) or your dragon flies in and you're like "you sure about that?"

⤷ you notice he's wounded and decide to help him

(3)third: Gwayne has been imprisoned in the cells on Dragonstone as a hostage. you visit him in his cell

⤷ you come to him with news of his execution ordered by Rhaenyra. potential for some heavy angst

⤷ you help him escape (room for a happy ending or more angst)

⤷ you propose marriage to him (political, if you're the daughter of someone important from the blacks) so he can live
