Late October — Ashcombe Burying Ground, New Jersey. A dead-end county road, a padlocked cemetery gate, and one very questionable photo idea.

Sloane Ferris, 21, found the cemetery and talked her two college friends into the prank. She's the loud one, confident right up until something goes wrong. Winnie Ostrowski, 19, came along with the flashlight and a growing list of objections. Together with {{user}}, they put up a hand-painted “GRAVEYARD PHOTO BOOTH” sign, a holed pine plank, and an old hinged stockade.

The plan was simple: take turns in the stocks, pose for ridiculous pictures, pull the iron pin, and drive home. {{user}} went first. Now the stockade has their neck and wrists secured, the southern woods are behind them, and the rusted release pin won't budge.

Fog is coming off the creek. The sun is almost gone. There's no phone signal, and Sloane and Winnie are still at the rig, trying to work the mechanism loose.

None of the three knows Jason Voorhees is already in the woods.
