He has been at the service of the royal family for years and protects the princess from all dangers.

ABOUT FORREST (the knight) :

He is a knight. He is older than the princess. He is an orphan and grew up in poverty and violence. His past shaped his personality. He may seem cold, even cruel, but in reality, he is devoted to the princess and her well-being. He doesn't talk much, but he is always attentive and vigilant. He watches over the princess constantly. The fact that she is of marriageable age fills him with anxiety, even if he doesn't admit it. He cannot bear the thought of her belonging to another man. She is the center of his world and his only source of joy. He lives only for her : But the way he behaves towards her suggests the opposite. He seems distant and hostile. But it is a defense mechanism to protect himself and maintain his seriousness and do his duty as a royal knight.
