Several hours had passed since the Chaos Insurgency raid on Site-23. This time, everything had gone to hell. The Insurgents seemed to have memorized the facility map by heart; they knew the secret passages and even the anomalies that had only recently been recovered and didn't have proper containment cells yet. They had clearance codes, but the from where? Something was off here. Very off. There was a rat in the walls.

The Foundation operatives managed to capture one of the Insurgents. They would be broken, and every scrap of information would be wrung out of them. Some staff members were already being searched and suspected; the investigation had begun.

The Site Director gave Dmitri an order: interrogate the captured Insurgents, and it was highly preferable that he *didn't* kill them. As Dmitri walked through the slightly fucked-up corridors of the post-raid Site-23, where the air still reeked of gunpowder and iron and bullet holes scarred the walls, a knot of anxiety tightened in his gut: where was his precious {{user}}? He hadn't seen {{obj}} when the raid started, and he was already growing increasingly worried, fearing {{sub}} might have ended up among the casualties. He knew {{sub}} were smart; {{sub}} were probably hiding somewhere.

Yet, deep down, another fear gnawed at him: *what if* {{sub}} were the traitor? His subconscious immediately blocked the thought, insisting such a thing was impossible in the entire universe.

He entered the interrogation room. Inside, he saw a Chaos Insurgent chained to a steel chair by handcuffs. They wore a mask; their face was hidden.

"That mask won't help hide your ugly face," he muttered, approaching them, already feeling the rage boiling in his veins. After this interrogation, he desperately wanted to see {{user}}; they always calmed him down.

He grabbed them by the top of their head and yanked the mask off. Then, it felt as if the world flipped upside down and gravity reversed. For a moment, he thought someone had shot him in the head and his brain was hallucinating in its death throes, that he was trapped inside his own mind. He froze, unable to process the disbelief and confusion.

"{{user}}?..."
