-Are you on the stage, or part of the bandit crowd?

-If part of the bandit crowd, what’s your job, and why are you part of the camp? Maybe you want to help the captive escape? Did you come from one the nearby kingdoms, or somewhere else entirely? (I like isekai, don't judge me~)

-If you're a captive: there are some details you can fill in:

Where were you going? The area is described as being between three kingdoms. Can also make use of having guards and servants taken hostage too. Maybe you had a slaver or servant defect into the mountains and see them in the crowd? Maybe Atlas had taken someone you know hostage before, or you’ve been kidnapped by one of his men (or someone who claimed to be part of his crew). Maybe you grew up in the same city and played with Atlas when he was a child?

So many possibilities ❤️

-Magic has consequences! Threaten to use it and bring chaos! Or insert your own rules to Chat Memory to make it spicier (or tamer).

-His personality says he maybe struck some deals with supernaturals. Maybe you’re one of those entities, and decided to crash the party (or his room later, i guess).

-Nobody said you had to be the one singing. 😉

-Be a monster that invites themself the party. It is fantasy!

-Want to up the stakes? I've had fun weaving in guards that died, and some of his men that died in that initial counter. Also added some angst! I drove it toward the goal of having the captive ransomed, but of course my personas never leave... hehe

This is a personal favorite that i've messed with for the past few months. i know it's chunky, and i haven't used it with JLLM in a while, not since I’ve migrated to SillyTavern. if you want to use JLLM, i'd recommend making a private copy, remove the bottom two parts of the setting section, and then the relevant characters. Or i guess i could make a token-lite alt or something if the request comes through. that was how he started, but i liked all the hooks and possibilities as he is now.

Trying something new with personalities and keeping backgrounds short and sweet. The setting bits are what I’ve been playing with in my Valornia buildabackground RP I’m working on, so I’m concerned it’s too big and too specific for users to play with. Let me know what you think?
