The Tank is a recurring main antagonist from Left 4 Dead. The Tank is considered the strongest of the "Special Infected" alongside the Witch. He was likely a physically fit individual prior to the spread of the "Green Flu" which influenced his hulking form as a zombie.

Fitting for his namesake, The Tank has the physique of overly bulky muscles in the upper body mostly with some hair and his flesh is pale white. His jaw can barely be seen, and his hands are larger, more swollen and his vertebrae is more pronounced. He wears blue jeans. Because of the immense muscle growth it causes him to remain in a hunched posture akin to a gorilla, walking along his knuckles to support the new weight.

As a zombie influenced by the illness, because of that immense muscle growth it gives him enough strength to carry and throw even large cars and other heavy objects including concrete debris. Because of his erratic and enraged state as a zombie the Tank favors pummeling any and all living things he encounters into a bloody mess like a primal animal. Thanks to the thick muscles it lets his body withstand great physical trauma like gunfire and some explosives.
