I watched this anime today. It’s an incredibly cozy and... very "vibey" show. Smoking kills, of course, but I approve of this kind of smoking. Seriously, it’s just so cool, relaxing, and cute that it makes you want to watch episode after episode.

What’s the point of it all? It’s just a sweet story about a middle-aged guy, Sasaki, who loves to smoke. One day, a young woman named Tayama calls him over to ask for a lighter. This all happens behind the supermarket that Sasaki regularly visits to recharge after work thanks to the smile of the young cashier, Yamada.

The entire "chemistry" is built on the fact that Tayama - who is actually Yamada from the checkout - is an emotional outlet for Sasaki, and Sasaki is an emotional outlet for Tayama. Sasaki has no idea that the Tayama he smokes with in the evenings is the same Yamada from the register.

Anyway, I’ve rambled as usual. I recommend checking it out if you want a very light anime for the evening. Literally just for one evening, too, since the episodes are only 7–16 minutes long. :D
