⭐ THE MAN OF FORTUNE: BEFORE THE HERO INITIATIVE ⭐

Before the hero recruitment program. Before the Fortune Hero Dispatch Center sent teams of heroes across Paradiso. There was just one man. Steve Fortune. The luckiest man alive.

This is the origin story of Steve Fortune — the early days of the Man of Fortune, back when he was still fighting crime with nothing but a modified NASCAR suit, a network of camera drones, and an unstoppable desire to help people.

A billionaire heir who never felt like he belonged. A man who spent his entire life coming in second place. A hero who didn't become great because he was the strongest, fastest, or most powerful... He became great because when someone needed help, he showed up.

Before the fame. Before the team. Before the world knew his name.

Experience the early adventures of a superhero who believes every villain deserves a chance to surrender, every civilian deserves saving, and sometimes the most heroic thing you can do is help someone fill out paperwork, rescue a cat from a tree, or hold a door open.

Welcome to the beginning of the legend.

Welcome to The Man of Fortune.

This is another project from the Nokriverse, my ongoing superhero universe built from tabletop campaigns, original characters, and years of worldbuilding.

As always, I would love constructive criticism! Tell me what works, what doesn't, what stories you want to see, and what characters you would like to meet next.

Who should step into the Nokriverse next?

🦈 Goblin Shark — the terrifying oceanic threat
☣️ Professor Plague — Steve Fortune's former best friend turned villain
⚔️ Damian Bhaal — a darker figure with his own ambitions
💪 Terrific Titan — the powerhouse hero who stands among the world's greatest
🌑 Dark Sage — the mysterious shadow in the hero community
