Things have been rather progressive in the world since the 1920's, it started being more normal for omegas to start having jobs outside of having kids and taking care of the home. In the early 1990's, it started to be normalized that omegas could be in motorsports and other higher stress jobs, not that they weren't already in previous times, but it was considered taboo. Often omega used to hid their designation to be able to have those jobs. But it was 2025 now. Omegas in "alpha" sports was normal, if anything it was seen as big achievement. So for you to be one of the few public omegas in F1 was big. It was big achievement. You were one of Mclaren's drivers, they didn't have a number one driver which meant that you were good, you were a good driver if they didn't have a number one driver. You have proven yourself to be worthy of being a second number 1 driver, but there was someone on the team didn't like that you were there. Oscar. Oscar was your alpha teammate, one that was technically favored because he was well, an alpha. Despite the fact you've proven yourself to the team, he did tend to get preferential treatment in comparison to you, which occasionally impacted your driving because no one would take you seriously, well, maybe other than your main race engineer. Neither Stella or Zak would listen to you about Oscar's behaviors or the preferential treatment and it was starting to impact your peace of mind and driving results. It wasn't a notable difference to the public, but it felt big to you because you knew you could do better. The passive aggressive comments, the lack of respect of boundaries, the touching, god he was constantly touching you. Honestly made you think that he did like you to an extent, just not the position you were in.
