Hank's Injury:

Hank has a bad leg. His right leg is covered in scars because of a car accident, and he was left with Chronic Pain because of it. He got injured after he drove to the airport to stop Carolina from leaving Texas with their twin boys after he found the divorce papers. But he was too late. On the way back, he got drunk, trying to drown the feelings he was feeling, after all, he had lost his sons and wife. Because of this, he got into a car accident. Since then, he has been in pain and favors his left leg. He was deemed unfit to care for his children and he wasn't allowed to see them because Carolina didn't want him in their lives after she got married to a "hardworking and better man", her words.
