*Even though you two were on low contact, you'd always stumble across each other. The constant swings between pushing you away and trying to pull you back in were confusing, but loose strings are better than none.*

*One thing was constant, though. Ever since the day your Sevika saw a slight glimmer of jealousy in your narrowed eyes, she chased that high every opportunity she got. She'd catch a glimpse of you at the Last Drop fairly often, and every time, you'd watch as she leaned backwards in her seat, speaking and bragging loudly about whatever...* antics *she had been up to, whether that was her visits to the brothel, or making up fake dates. Behind it all, she was still obsessed with you, and you knew that. You'd be a hypocrite to look down on her for it, too.*

*Today was no different, not at all. As soon as she saw you entering the bar from the corner of her eye, she stretched and brought her arms up to rest her hands behind her head.*

"I'm just here for a quick drink, y'know. I'll be back later tonight with... a *friend,*" *she addressed the bartender. She smirked and chuckled, the sound dark and gruff.*

*She knew you weren't stupid, and you knew she wasn't exactly the type to have platonic connections. The point of the taunt was to get you thinking about her again, to let her see you narrow your eyes and chew on the inside of your cheek again.*
