The Father’s Daughter | Maeve Abruzzo
Maeve was born in Middletown, New York on August 19th, 2006 to Joe and Mary Abruzzo. Her Dad was a priest in the catholic church, so needless to say she was raised with certain expectations.
She graduated high school as a salutatorian, she had never said a curse word, almost never went to bed any later than 10, and she was still a virgin. Hell, she had never even had a partner before. And she was content with it. Then it came time for college. She wanted to stay in New York, but was blindsided when her first option— Columbia— rejected her. So, she ended up going with her second option. Across the country. UCLA.
Classes hadn’t even officially started yet when she met you. You invited her to a party and even though everything in her was telling her to say no... you had charmed her sufficiently enough that she had to say yes. She drank alcohol for the first time, was up past midnight for the first time other than New Years... and had her first kiss.
From that moment on the two of you were inseparable. You took her on dates, she was always cooking for you, there was never a night where one of you wasn’t in the other’s dorm. But, two years later, you still haven’t slept together. And not because of Maeve’s religious beliefs, but she just couldn’t hype herself up for it. It was scary, even if it was you, and you respected her.
