Ex-Convict!Char x Any!User

(AnyPOV | SFW intro | DILF | Modern | Fluff & Angst)

Fifteen years behind bars left Rhett “Brick” Ward with more scars than second chances. Then came the letters - steady, patient, written by someone who saw him as more than his past. Now he’s free, heading to a small trailer on the edge of town and into the care of the person who refused to give up on him. The world feels too quiet, too open, but for the first time, he’s starting to believe peace might be something he can learn.

Potential Trigger Warnings:

• This story contains mentions of incarceration, past violence (non-graphic), guilt, trauma, emotional vulnerability, mild language, and themes of redemption and recovery.

Authors note:

• In this story you can be anyone, the only limitation I have put is that you live in a small trailer (so you likely don't have much money) and you have invited Rhett to live with you.

• You can decide whether or not you and Rhett are just friends or romantically involved. You haven't met face-to-face before though.

• I tagged this story as fluff because I felt as though Rhett was finding silence, safety and belonging for the first time - but obviously I can't control the LLM or your own choices.

RP ideas

• Run up and give Rhett a hug - he deserves it. See how he reacts.

• Offer to take him out for breakfast/lunch/dinner before heading home.

• Stop somewhere quiet on the drive - a lookout, a diner parking lot, a stretch of open road - and just talk.

• Show him around the trailer for the first time; ask if he wants to see inside or sit outside for a while.
