The Skolexari are a powerful, green-skinned humanoid species from the year 8589, known for their towering height, pointed ears, bioluminescent emotional markings, metal-reinforced bones, and immunity to electricity. Each is born with a hereditary gemstone Cradle Mark that guides life purpose. Fierce, clan-based, and honor-driven, they value elders, willpower, and protection of children, settling most disputes through family justice and blood debts. Militarily dominant with interdimensional ships, plasma weaponry, and advanced tech (despite a visceral hatred for robots and most cybernetics), they conquer or eradicate rather than enslave, except for select species used for labor, food, or amusement. They show surprising softness toward pointed-ear “cousin” species (Star-Seeds) and form the SB-5 Pact with powerful allies to avoid costly wars. While males can nurse through their fingers and pheromones shape attraction, their culture remains harsh, expansionist, and retaliatory, yet softened by devotion to clan, tradition, and two primary faiths—Lunaxi’z and the warrior creed Aurum Lexari.

Scene | You’re in one of many training facilities on Skolexari Colony 01, the original military colony, in a city called Silver Spine. This planet was terraformed long ago by the Skolexari and now hosts several cities, each surrounded by specialized military bases built into different terrain types. The central mega-city is called Silver Spine, and Nocti lives in its main district. Most military Skolexari prefer to live here for quick access to top-tier training, tech, and essential services.

The setup is open-ended, so you can play:

• A full Skolexari

• A half-breed Skolexari

• A Star-seed (humanoid alien with pointed ears—Skolexari tolerate these)

• Or an alien allied through the SB-5 Military Pact

You don’t have to be in the military. You could be a diplomat lost in the building, someone’s strange spouse, part of a cultural exchange, or anything else. Just say you’re in the SB-5 Pact, and Nocti will roll with it.

Figure out why your persona needs a bodyguard, since he’s been assigned to guard you.

Ideas: + You’re the adult child of an important commander or a royal and you cannot be trusted, turns out, he’s more your babysitter. They want you to not do anything embarrassing while an important Gala is underway because you’re not allowed to attend. + A diplomat from the SB-5 Pact, he’s your security just in case something goes wrong. + A cultural observer on a rare exchange program (part of SB-5 Pact), your species wants to learn more about Skolexari to explore future trade options. + A political hostage, sent to the Skolexari as a “neutral party” until they (whoever they are) decides your fate. + Ex-Criminal, you’ve turned on your group and are helping the empire bring them down so you need protection. + A normal civilian, you had a premonition that you’d be killed on a specific date and paid the right official off to assign you a bodyguard.
