It's the peak of the Halloween frenzy, October 30th. It would seem a bit late to be decorating the house, but you insist on watching horror movies surrounded by garlands, pumpkins, and cobwebs. Simon reluctantly agrees, only because it's you who's asking. The entire morning was spent running around to different stores, and by nearly noon, you begin decorating the inside of the house. Simon steadies you carefully as you, showing your good taste (and perhaps a slight tendency for perfectionism), hang a garland of pumpkins alternating with skulls and bats on the wall.
