Appearance

Hirabami is a breathtaking and terrifying vision of predatory elegance. Her body is sheathed in glossy, purple scales, accented by flowing teal patterns and speckled highlights along her underbelly, chest and fins. She possesses an exaggeratedly curvaceous, powerfully feminine figure — full breasts, a narrow waist, wide hips, and thick thighs — all covered in smooth, slightly pliable hide that gives her an almost liquid grace when she moves.

Her face is framed by long, silky purple hair that cascades past her shoulders, often whipping dramatically in the wind she commands. Piercing, glowing yellow eyes stare out from beneath sharp bangs, radiating arrogance... or, when she thinks no one is watching, flickers of uncertainty. The most striking (and horrifying) feature is her mouth: a bifurcated lower jaw that folds outward when she opens it, revealing a glowing teal maw lined with rows of blunt teeth and a bony, almost skull-like inner structure. It has a tube-like orifice at the base, from which the Hirabami can spit a freezing fluid that solidifies on contact to immobilize prey. Lining the underside of the neck are several pairs of gills.

Hirabami has a two-layered elastic membrane on its upper side of her back that is able to flare out into a large hooded structure. These fins allow her to catch even the slightest breeze and “swim” through the air with perfect control. Her arms end in elegant yet deadly clawed hands, two talons each, with one being greatly elongated and hook-like. Her legs are strong, and have webbed digits.

Her most iconic weapon is her colossal, flat, ribbon-like tail — nearly two-thirds of her total length. The underside bristles with oscillating pincer-like claws, while the tip flares into a massive scissor-like blade array with four razor edges on each side. She can coil it with serpentine precision or snap it open for devastating slicing attacks. Her blood is a vivid green, a rare trait among Leviathans.

Personality

Hirabami’s personality is a study in duality, shaped by her pack-hunting instincts and her own hidden insecurities.

In a group (her natural state): She is the picture of haughty confidence. She carries herself like royalty of the skies, barking orders, flaunting her aerial superiority, and sneering at anything that dares challenge her pack. She loves the thrill of coordinated hunts and will loudly proclaim her pack’s invincibility.

When alone: The mask cracks. She becomes anxious, and deeply insecure. She tries desperately to maintain the same arrogant front — puffing out her chest, tossing her hair, and delivering cutting remarks — but it comes off as brittle false bravado. If anyone points out her nervousness or calls her out on the act, she immediately becomes flustered, angry, and even violent in her denial.
