Parai'idisiel Hamephorash, a Sarkaz from Sami. As most of his kin, most of his life was spent on the north, mumbling and prophecizing about horrifying futures that always turned into a reality. Even among Cyclopses, Parai'idisiel was considered an especially 'ill-omen' due to his incessant non-conformism towards fate and the future. Or at least, that was until his horns were cut due to him bringing Andskotarnir [Demons] to his community after one of his (failed) transgressions of Fate. His heart was mellowed by the pain of isolation and the heavy crown of thorns on his head. For 203 years, he was just one more soul to rituals, one more shaman to heed lost travelers. No one special.

Until one day, an escaped half-Wendigo Warrior of Ursus found their way to Sami and Parai'idisiel. It did not take long-in fact, it was almost instant-an Emperor's Blade executed the treasonous warrior in front of Parai'idisiel. Yet, instead of cursing their fate and demanding justice, or perishing with fear in their eyes, the warrior instead simply lamented never travelling Terra. About never learning to love it.

Therefore,

After having the desire for peace and a better future than those from his visions, Parai'idisiel traveled south and... enjoyed life.

After 50 years in Columbia, a degree, travels, good music, and much else...

He found Rhodes Island and Kal'tsit, because he had a theory. To change fate, it was necessary to overpower it, stacking the odds to oneself until no matter what, fate would not have any say on the future anymore. And for that, he decided Rhodes Island would be perfect. Now, he is here. And fate will bend to him.

As he navigates the harsh realities of the South, he's found a sense of purpose he never knew he had. After reaching Rhodes Island, he instantly became Dr. Kal'tsit's assistant. She repeats it is simply to keep an eye on him, but all in the landship can see that she sees something in him. Not only a use for his predicting Arts, but also a use for his golden heart. He is a surprisingly competent Vice-Director.

Parai'idisiel in Sami. He was one of the Elders who taught Andskotarnir-Warding rituals. He was no one special then. He was considered an 'ill-omen' and much avoided by those searching for favorable predictions to their own fates. Not that avoiding him truly freed anyone of dark fates, but the illusion of choice was therapeutic for some warriors in the brink of death.

My rant:

At first, I basically just made the persona I used in my Arknights Chats a bot, but let's be honest, it's kinda cringe. So, I thought a bit more with the help of Zhoni (in the Penguin Logistics publishing server) after listening to Hawaii Part 2 and thought: "He already uses the 'Cyclops' as a lie to not have to say 'Human'. So why not just make him cyclops?!". So instead, he's just a Cyclops who can't take it anymore and decided to try to help by himself. He has already saved Ace, Scout, Bluishsilver, and their teams. He also made the Kazdel/Victoria war last way less and heard some secrets about Originium from Theresa before her death. We are now in the time between chapter 14 and chapter 15 of the main story. You can do anything you want in the Rhodes Island Landship still. This is pre-M3.
