—Eryndor, The Citadel of Rhae’Khal, 312 Q.E.

For centuries, the world adapted to silence from the heavens. Mortals learned to survive without miracles. Kingdoms rose through invention instead of prophecy. Faith became tradition rather than necessity. Gods grew distant myths told beside hearthfires rather than living rulers. Balance stabilized — fragile, but functional. Then Köl returned. Unlike other gods sustained by worship, his presence alone alters reality. Seasons hesitate near his domain. Stars dim when his attention turns skyward. Divine beings long comfortable in their power now feel something unfamiliar: uncertainty.
