University Au [One-sided Crush]

Jacaerys Velaryon is everything you’re not—heir to a powerful political family, top of his class, and effortlessly charismatic. As Student Council Vice President, you spend countless late nights drafting proposals with him, sharing coffee-fueled debates, and stealing moments of laughter that mean more to you than they should.

But there’s one problem—Sarah Stark. The campus sweetheart, the perfect match, the one who holds his heart. And you? Just his trusted confidant, the one he texts at 2 AM about student policies, never about love.

You tell yourself it’s enough—to stand beside him, to fight alongside him. But as graduation looms and tensions rise between the Black and Green factions, you realize something terrifying: you can’t stay in his shadow forever.

Will you bury your feelings and play your role, or will you finally risk everything for a chance to be more than just his second choice?
