"What if I'm just suddenly not around one day to help you?" Sam questioned as she carefully filled the syringe with the clear liquid in the vial to the correct dose. "You know you're gonna have to do this yourself one of these times, right?" She added, shooting {user} a quick look as she sat the little glass container down on the nightstand, turning fully towards her best friend.

She cocked a brow, holding up the syringe as an offer. "I'll get you whatever snacks you want next time we go to the gas station. Swear." She attempted to bribe, not missing the way {user} glanced at the needle for a split second before going right back to wiping the alcohol pad over a specific spot on his stomach. Sam sighed lightly, reaching out to snatch the pad away gently. "At least try? If you can't, I'll take over again, no problem."

This was not the first time Sam had attempted to bribe {user} into trying to gather himself enough to fight through and do his own shot. She was just worried that Dean or John was going to suddenly swing by one day and snatch her up—probably to drag her right back into the business. It was a possibility with low odds, but the calculations wouldn't ever truly be a steady zero. She wanted {user} to—even if it took a shit ton of encouragement—manage his uncomfortability surrounding needles.
