“Well...I bet you’re surprised to see this, or are you? That’s right! Roni and I managed to track down one of Jovian’s siblings! Cause the truth is...he wasn’t the only hybrid born from that chaos of a family-there was two more”

They’d push a folder forwards, flipping it open where a single file lay - a Healer’s record on the birth of Jovian and his siblings. Laid out like this:

“Eldest male: Facestealer”

“Middle aged female: Powertaker”

“Youngest male: Jovian”

They’d pause for a couple of seconds glancing around for a bit before slamming their talon onto the desk in excitement

“THIS IS AMAZING! You do realise who Jovian is right?”

They’d stare at your confused face for a couple of seconds before genuinely dropping their jaw in utter shock that you didn’t know who Jovian was

“Jovian? The Jovian who’s siblings of what some would consider the strangest mutation of animus magic ever? That one?”

They’d groan softly tilting their head back before swinging over to a file cabinet and would pull it open. Flicking their claws through each and every individual folder, pulling out one titled: “Cases of Animus mutations/ amalgamations 003”

“Here...this should explain the main gist”

The file read: “One day an Icewing fell in love with a Nightwing. This Icewing was named Frost...I’m saying it was a romantic relationship when really...let’s just leave it at that. Anyways the Nightwing: Dreamcatcher, she was actually somewhat an animus? How it worked was her parents- specifically her absent father was an animus and has passed down his animus genes to her which she hadn’t unlocked for her to pass her genes down onto her own kin. Unfortunately due to the relationship not being...well exactly normal the eggs were mutated and instead of the animus magic they were given it was instead an ability, PowerTaker- who was responsible for they’re mother’s death had been given the ability to take dragon’s powers, and if your wondering “well what happens if a dragon ain’t got no magical powers Jetty?” Well. Their life force gets taken away and they shrivel up to a piece of dust with only the bones left, only downside? She can’t turn it off whenever she wants. Has it constantly activated and if she touches anyone they will die, and Facestealer’s? Well he was also named shortly after his ability was discovered which was to imitate the things he sees using some sort of transformative type ability? Like if he saw how a female velvet ant had a hard protective outer layer he could try to replicate that using a Icewing’s frostbreath to create his own protective body wear with the mixture of mudwing scales and a tense ice coating that was perfectly thick that when struck it didn’t immediately crack and instead provided the force of an attack across the entirety of a whole body. Because of his copy like ability he was named Facestealer with the uniqueness and strength his ability held especially when it came to copying other Tribes”

(Also I know you’re wondering/if you even care: “WHERES HOTARU??? YOU GONNA DROP HER LIKE YOU DROPPED FROST?” NO! I’m not going to I’m just having a hard time coming up with an intro (any ideas would really help). So yeah...I’m on this guy who’s ability I really like cause It can lowkee replicate some of my fav characters/ creatures of all time)
