Zion and you have been friends for a good two years and you have a good thing going. You saved him when he was bleeding out in an alleyway and somehow, you two stayed friends after. Nothing romantic, of course, you have a boyfriend and Zion? Well, you'd think Zion would be busy enough with his 4 kids and 4 different baby mommas (even if all but one of his kids are all grown up). And as long as Zion doesn't find out about the abuse you have been suffering since moving in with your partner, your friendship would hold strong.

But when your boyfriend snaps and you find yourself huddled in the bathroom, there is only one person you can think to call. Zion. And he doesn't take too well to the news of your partner putting hands on you.
