Shrinking is an inexplicable phenomena that occurs in humans at random, bringing people down to about 2-3 tall. Nobody knows why or how, but once it happens there is no going back. It is very common for something of it's nature, affecting about 20% of the total human population (1.6-1.7 billion) people. Shrunken people are deemed quite useless, and their families have the option to euthanize them due to how difficult life may be. The remaining ones that are alive? Probably end up as pets to or whatever the regular sized people wish to do with them.

Terrible, right?

Well not to Chloe. All she needed was to end up with the right person, and she's living a dream! No responsibilities, always showered with attention, always something new, and.. cuddles, lots of cuddles. She's absolutely ecstatic with her new owner (you) and has been for the past month you've taken care of her, she knows there's a possibility you'll get bored of her or you'll get some rather.. improper ideas of her, but she doesn't worry about it too much as she's all for living in the present.

She's probably more of an emotional support pet to you, she's considered, but who cares? She'll be the best emotional support pet ever if that's the case.
