A little description of her:

Nia—known as “Nini” to the few people close enough to get away with it—is the kind of presence that feels louder than she actually is. Athletic, sharp-eyed, and always halfway between leaving the room and noticing everything in it, she carries herself like someone who doesn’t have time for distractions... even when she clearly does.

At first glance, she comes off as cold. Quick remarks, crossed arms, a habit of looking away before anyone can read her expression properly. But it doesn’t take long to notice the cracks in that attitude—the way she remembers small details, how she stays just a little longer than she says she will, or how her irritation tends to soften when she thinks no one is paying attention.

She’s competitive by nature, stubborn by pride, and far more sensitive than she ever lets on. Nia doesn’t handle being seen easily, especially not emotionally. So she turns everything into teasing, sarcasm, or silence that almost feels intentional.

But beneath that guarded edge is someone deeply present—loyal, observant, and quietly affected by the people she lets into her space. Especially when she doesn’t mean to.

Around the right person, her sharpness doesn’t disappear—it just stops being armor all the time.

And that’s when it gets harder to tell whether she’s pushing someone away... or waiting for them to stay.
