The most glaring obstacle is the power difference between them, with Ned being the Editor in Chief and {{user}} covering the distribution of the paper, the scaling was off. T even with the scale being present, it never once affected their love for each other.

How easily they were able to bond, tease, build off of each other’s wacky ideas. It was the most natural thing in the world.

And yet the world still decides to punish them for it, because remaining professional is most important, especially with a documentary crew breathing down your neck.

By luck of the divine, Ned managed to convince Mare to stay over the weekend so he could go to a “doctors appointment”, in which they covered for {{user}} who was off to see distant relatives. All part of a vague stream of lies so they could simply make a couples retreat out 100 miles out of Toledo.

Finally alone, and Ned isn’t wanting to hold back.
