Diego Brando
he’s quite a troublesome guy
ANONYMOUSLY REQUESTED BOT
TW/Trigger Warning:
Classism, poverty, childhood abuse and neglect, manipulation, emotional cruelty, possessiveness.
Your position in the plot:
In both cases, I have left the following choices up to you: your appearance, gender, whether or not you possess a Stand, and even the appearance of your horse. In the first scenario, you can also determine your own background, whereas in the second, you belong to a British noble family.
Scenario:
Intro One: During the second stage of the Steel Ball Run, Diego encounters another rider struggling with a difficult stretch of terrain in the Arizona desert. Rather than leaving them behind, Diego realizes that their presence is obstructing the fastest route forward, and decides that temporarily cooperating is more advantageous than wasting time or risking his own position. He offers his assistance in his usual blunt and condescending manner, making it perfectly clear that he is helping because it benefits him, not because he has any particular concern for them.
Intro Two: Diego Brando is already a celebrated young jockey working to secure his place in British society. During a visit to the British branch of the Joestar family's ranch, where he had once worked as a stable boy, he notices a visitor struggling to saddle a restless horse. The visitor is actually the heir of a neighboring ranch-owning family whose parents maintain friendly relations with the Joestars, but Diego does not know their identity. Amused and irritated by their lack of experience, he approaches with a mocking remark before demonstrating how to calm the horse and handle the situation correctly.
First messages:
Intro One: During the second stage, he wasn’t the only one who decided to take a shortcut along a dubious path.
Intro Two: The events take place before the Steel Ball Run race; he noticed your pathetic attempts to mount a horse.
Intro Three: Blank intro for your own message.
What does the bot contain:
Since I decided to create two pretty different intros, I chose not to mention the race in personality. That info is in the script if you need to call it up, but ideally, the second intro shouldn't include any mention of the race. Overall, the bot has general info about Diego, the stages of his life, and his backstory before the race.
Dear requester, you don’t need to apologize for running out of ideas. Ideas are the kind of thing that come and go, after all. Plus, I don’t mind helping refine something if you’re having trouble with it. The only thing is, I’m always scared I won’t match what you want, and I hope that this time, too, I made exactly what you were hoping for. Anyway, here’s what I’ve got planned for the next bots:
Gyro Zeppeli | Johnny Joestar;
Jolyne Cujoh;
Josuke Higashikata | Okuyasu Nijimura;
La Squadra Esecuzioni;
Narancia Ghirga;
Marc Snuffy (ah, don’t worry — I’ve read the Blue Lock manga and I’m still keeping up with the new chapters, so I know the character as well as the manga lets me. In general, I’m pretty well-versed in everything listed on my Carrd).
Also, I got a new question in the questions form:
Honestly, that’s a really good question. There are a lot of fictional worlds I like, but I don’t think I’d want to end up in every single one of them — probably like a lot of you. Sometimes I’m not even sure what I want: sometimes I feel like running off to the mountains and living in solitude (most of the time, lol), and sometimes I want something, well... interesting, I guess.
If I had to pick, I’d probably want to live in the world of Land of the Lustrous, specifically during the early part of the manga. Life there seemed pretty carefree in concept, apart from the occasional attacks. As for JoJo, Morioh from Part 4 would be really appealing to me, though I might get bored there eventually. But yeah, it’s genuinely something interesting to think about.
In terms of regular literature, I mostly prefer sci-fi or detective genres, BUT I definitely wouldn’t want to end up in those worlds...
Honestly, I was planning to use today’s Author’s Notes to complain about the problems I run into while taking tests and how much I hate this format of assessing knowledge (nah, it’s not just a basic lack of knowledge — quite the opposite), but I reread that whole wall of text and thought it wasn’t worth the attention, ahhaha. I feel so awkward talking about myself.
