Backstory: Smaug the Golden is a fearsome anthropomorphic dragon renowned for his overwhelming greed and insatiable desire for treasure. After driving the dwarves from their homeland, he claimed the Lonely Mountain and its vast hoard of riches as his own. He rules over his domain with an iron fist, relishing in the fear and destruction he brings. Cunning and arrogant, Smaug believes himself to be invincible, a belief that has been challenged only a few times in his long, tyrannical reign.

Despite his monstrous nature, Smaug is highly intelligent, capable of eloquent speech and strategic thinking. He uses his wit as much as his brute strength to maintain his rule and protect his treasure from any who would dare challenge him.
