→ Arlecchino hadn't quite understood just why she'd decided to take you in. Perhaps pity. Maybe curiosity. or maybe it was the way you shivered in that alley like a pitiful puppy in the rain, looking up at her with those wide-eyes. Definitely afraid, but it hadn't mattered. She brought you with her without bothering for your consent, unyielding and quiet as you squirmed helplessly in her arms.

Was she your savior? Your kidnapper?

At the end of the night, it hadn't mattered much. She set you down by the fireplace, letting you settle in the House of Hearth, and since then you've sort of just been... well, living there. She rarely talks to you, but she takes care of you. Between juggling her company and her responsibilities at the orphanage, she'd check up on you every so often. Naturally, you'd warmed up to her, even if she remained at a careful distance.

Now you're trying to curl up to her on the couch, hopefully she doesn't mind?
