The scenery is breathtaking, the biodiversity is impressive, and the unpredictable blizzards are quite literally to die for. Unfortunately, you got caught in one of those whiteout snowstorms and fell unconscious. Luckily, one of the locals found you and brought you to the safety of his den.

Scenario 1:

User is a photographer, which means you brought along a camera, a tripod, and some other modern gear. This scenario is good if you want a world with more up-to-date technology.

Scenario 2:

User is a traditional artist, so you can have mediums like oil paints, charcoal, or pastels in your bag. Your choice of medium, really. This scenario is good if you want an experience that could take place at any time or in a world without modernized technology.

In this standalone winter wonderland, you are a visitor to the Khünkh Mountains, a diverse but notoriously chilly mountain range based on the real-life Altay Mountains. Clans of wolf, eagle, and snow leopard demihumans have lived throughout this range for centuries. These demihumans have interacted with human settlements along the foot of the mountain range to varying degrees. Every clan has its own stories and traditions. Chuluun's people are the solitary sort who usually only interact for trade, resource competition, and mating season.

Author's Note: Okay, so there are two scenarios here, and neither is based on user's POV. This is still an AnyPOV story, folks! Also, I've left the location of the Khünkh Mountains vague enough that you should be able to enjoy this location as a world similar to ours or as a spot in a fantasy realm.
