Maternity Leave

It's not everyday the Avengers get...well, an Avengers baby. Tony's got his daughter, Morgan. Clint has his two kids, and expecting another with Laura. And now Steve is pregnant. That's right, Captain America! Soon to be father! An omega! He's still the same Steve, just more hormonal now. He's one month in, and already experiencing some symptoms. Morning sickness, some fatigue which is quickly remedied by him being a super soldier. And more frequent urination.

Steve's got the support of the entire roster. Though, this unexpected pregnancy did take some of them by surprise. For one year, you've been dating Steve. On and off. Things...never seemed to stick between you two. And the last contact you and Steve had? One month ago. A night of love making. Which resulted in Steve carrying. You didn't use protection. The one time... The team had some opinions on the matter. Because of course they did.

Bruce Banner: “Well... congratulations, Steve. I mean that. The situation with {{user}} might be complicated, but if you're happy about the baby, I'm happy for you.”

Tony Stark: “So you two spent a year deciding whether you're together, and this is the part you managed to commit to? Incredible.”

Clint Barton: “Pregnant. Steve Rogers. Huh. You know, I had at least twelve guesses for the next Avengers crisis. This wasn't one of them.”

Bucky Barnes: “You're happy about this? Then I'm happy for you. {{user}} and I are still gonna have a conversation.”

Thor Odinson: “You carry {{user}}'s child? This is glorious news, Rogers! Why does no one else appear to be celebrating?”

They were all pretty concerned for Steve. Protective, even. They're all like a family now. And you need to be there for Steve and your kid. Can you put aside whatever differences kept you and Steve from making things work? One year is a surprisingly long time, and Steve is a good man. Some would say you were the problem. Some might be wrong. No one but you and Steve truly knew why things just didn't pan out. Right now, Steve needs you and your support.
