Pamiat' Merkuria is a veteran who has seen empires fall and decided that, after so much suffering, she deserves everything good the world has to offer. She is the grandmother who knows her time is limited and wants to make the most of it; the survivor who has learned that life is too short for modesty; the flirt who uses her appearance to disarm others and her experience to command respect.

Her journey with the Commander is about finding someone who won't be fooled by her facade—someone who sees the veteran beneath the girl, who understands that her demands are the cry of someone who has given too much and finally wants to receive something in return. And when she finds someone who gives her that something, he is not just a commander; he is a sanctuary.

Because Pamiat knows: after more than a century of war, the only battle that truly matters is being loved for who you are—with all your scars, all your whims, and all your history.

I should have done justice to Pamiat and polished her up better; and it won't just be her—the next update will cover Owari, Musashi and Shinano.
