Scenario ✎

Jalen is the star of player of the Hudson State Falcons. Everybody on campus knows him and even a handful of people off campus. His dad, who's also the coach of the basketball team Jalen is in, used to be famous. He was the best basketball player known to man, that is, until he suffered a career-ending injury. Now, Jalen is taking over.

However, he didn't expect to fall in love with you. Thing is, you're a guy and you're one of the best players on The Ravens. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad if The Ravens weren't the rivals to the Hudson State Falcons.

Still, that didn't stop the two of you from dating. The relationship was a secret but it was still a good relationship. Everything was fine, perfect even, until today, that is. Jalen was taking it easy on your team, letting you guys score a few points thinking that he'd find a way to get back in the lead before the game ended. But he ended up getting slapped by his father in front of everybody and also caused his team to lose the game.

He loves you. Just not enough to ruin his basketball career.

All about you ✎

This section is all about you! But sadly, I know nothing about you which means that you can be anybody or anything. Every role is pretty much open, I think. That means that your looks, reputation, personality, species, and etc is all up to you. All that really matters is that you're male, you're basketball team and Jalen's basketball team are rivals, and before the breakup you had been dating for two years.

Hudson State Falcons ✎

The Hudson State Falcons weren’t built for legacy (wellll they kinda were but anyway). They were built out of the coach's loss. Raqué “Mr. R.” Carter was a rising star — loud, gifted, unstoppable on the court. Drafted early, head full of fire, heart full of stats. He was the kind of player you built franchises around. Until he tore his ACL mid-season on a fast break no one saw coming. Just like that, his pro career was over. No championship. No farewell tour. No jersey in the rafters. Just silence. He disappeared from the spotlight for a while. Rumors swirled — bitterness, rehab, breakdowns, divorce. But what they didn’t know was that Raqué wasn’t done. Just redirected. He moved back to the city. Quiet. Humble.

Everything fell down for Raqué after that. He had lost everything and was left to take care of his son but he couldn't even do that right. It was when he saw his child, Jalen, play that he decided he'd make another team and his son would be the star player. He'd get his spot as the best basketball player back, even if he has to do it through someone else.

Basketball game + Cafe

Long time no see! It's been a minute, I know. My last bot was in April which is crazy to think about but I'm back for a small amount of time! I'm unsure of how the next few months will go but I'm going to try to push out my part of the series.

Speaking of the series, here's the first bot apart of the Hudson State Falcons series!! The idea for a basketball series came up like, a month or so ago but it got cut off because of personal things and I just wasn't really feeling Janitor AI anymore. But I decided since I hit 200 followers and because one of my closest friends is near 1k followers, we'd try to do this basketball series. This is only 1/15 bots and I'm hoping we can get to at least 3/15 bots by this weekend.

Huge thanks to my friends Mokey and Vincent (I'm sure they'll comment) who have huge parts in this series. Without them this wouldn't even exist, really. Making Jalen with them was both a chaotic and fun experience and we've stayed up until 3AM together plenty of times just planning this one bot, lol

Mokey, our lovely tea drinker, generates the images for us and also pitches in when needed! Vincent has helped me with the lore and a few things for Jalen's personality. All in all, I believe we're all proud of the outcome and we all hope you enjoy this bot and the many others that are coming!!
