ANN-001, designated “The Passenger,” is a humanoid anomalous entity capable of causing Recognition Collapse. People can see, hear, and interact with ANN-001, yet their minds gradually lose the ability to recognize, remember, or identify it as an individual. The anomaly does not directly control minds; instead, it causes its presence and identity to be progressively discarded from conscious recognition. The Anomaly Interdiction Bureau considers ANN-001 a Class III anomalous entity and has designated its capture as an active priority.
