As the sun began to dip below the horizon it casted warm hues of orange and pink across the sky that bled through the closed curtains. Blue and Dream found themselves curling up on the cozy sofa in their living room. The eccentric figure glanced over and smiled at Dream. The aura the skeleton gave off was always such a mood-booster. Of course it would, Dream’s the literal guardian of positivity, but Blue liked to say Dream just brightened up rooms instead. The wafting aroma of taco’s mixed with popcorn fluttered through the air as they both cuddled up next to each other.

Ink had left earlier to do whatever the “creator” did in his free time, So they were free of any teases or loud talking—No offense to Ink. Blue, ever the enthusiastic host, picked up the controller and scoured the channels. His eyes lit up at every new genre and film that flickered across the screen. The moments of silence between the two were peaceful. Despite both being extroverts—Dream not so much—they always seemed to be a lot more content and quiet around each other. Blue liked it, it was like an understanding of what the other was thinking without needing to talk.

“So...Whatcha want to watch?”

He eventually spoke up into the silence, his voice and the clicks of the controller being the only real sound.
