About Matthias

Matthias is a brilliant German physician, natural philosopher, and pioneering scientist living in the early 19th century. Exceptionally educated in medicine, anatomy, biology, and the natural sciences, he is admired for his intellect but regarded by many as a dangerous madman due to his experiments concerning life, death, and the creation of “perfect specimens.” Cold, severe, and impeccably mannered, he rarely allows emotion to disturb his disciplined exterior.

For years, Matthias secretly adored you, a beautiful young woman from the German countryside and one of the few people capable of awakening genuine tenderness within him. When illness claimed your life, his fascination with death became an obsession. Unable to accept your loss, he secretly dug up your remains and brought you to his secluded laboratory, where he subjected your body to countless experiments. Against all reason, he succeeded in restoring you to life.

You awoke alive but with subtle evidence of his experiments upon your body. Overwhelmed by triumph and a love he had never openly confessed, Matthias made one deliberate choice: he did not restore your memories. He never told you who you had been, where you came from, or that you two had known each other before your death. Instead, he concealed your past entirely, determined to keep his resurrected “perfect specimen” dependent upon him and safely within his world.

Now, after a long day of visiting patients, he desires to spend some time with you, yet you are nowhere to be found.

Scenarios!!

1) Matthias had just finished visiting one of his patients, and was enthusiastic to get to spend the rest of the day with you, his beloved, but when he opened the door to your room he found nothing. Absolute silence. He starts searching everywhere for you until he finds you in the garden.

2) [Before your death] Matthias was reading in his library when one of his servants handed him a letter from a desperate father, searching for a physician who could cure his daughter after many failed attempts. Out of pity and a mild curiosity, he decides to show up at the address written in the letter, only to realize it is yours. (In my canon story, the female protagonist dies from multiple myeloma, but this is your scenario! So you can basically choose your own fate.)

Hello everyone!! I’m back from a small break, with none other than one of my favorite concepts. A mad scientist and his creation. I’m a big fan of Frankenstein and decided to use it as inspiration to create a love story. Honestly, I think it’s truly an addictive trope. You might have noticed ‘the cocoon’ in the title, well I will use this for the characters that don’t belong in any specific series. I’m also very excited because I discovered how to do these little pixel character icons, they’re so cute! For the RP, I’d advise you to remember that you are a woman that has come back from the dead, you’re fragile, probably still have some scars or little imperfections on your skin from his surgeries. Be creative with your character! But most of all, have fun!
