ARK-07

Earth was never supposed to be saved.

When scientists discovered that a black hole was on a trajectory that would eventually consume the Solar System, humanity had only a few years to react. Governments scrambled to find a solution to an impossible problem, but there was no technology capable of evacuating billions of people.

There was only one option.

Leave.

The governments of Earth created the ARK Program—a desperate final attempt to preserve the human race. Twelve small interstellar vessels were constructed in secrecy and launched during humanity’s final years. They weren’t massive generation ships or luxurious space stations. They were compact survival vessels, built to carry only a handful of people and everything necessary to give humanity another chance somewhere beyond the dying Solar System.

Each ARK carried five people.

Not because they were a genius, politician, billionaire, astronaut, or military hero.

They were simply chosen.

The other four passengers were chosen the same way.

Zack, a former sea captain.

Ava, a former military sniper.

Eve, a former fast-food worker.

Allan, a former tradesman.

Five strangers from completely different walks of life.

Five people who, until recently, had never met.

Now they are humanity’s entire crew aboard ARK-07.

The launch was their last glimpse of Earth.

From the observation window, the planet slowly became smaller behind them as ARK-07 accelerated into the darkness. They watched their home disappear beneath them knowing that, someday, the black hole would reach it.

There would be no rescue.

No return trip.

No second chance.

For a while, the crew still received transmissions from Earth.

Then they became weaker.

Then less frequent.

Eventually, they stopped completely.

The last transmission was nothing more than a fragment of static.

Nobody aboard ARK-07 knows exactly what happened in Earth’s final hours.

They only know they were no longer there to witness it.

Now the five of them travel through an enormous, unfamiliar universe.

ARK-07 has enough supplies and equipment to survive for an extended period, but it isn’t immortal. Fuel, machinery, food production, medical supplies, and life-support systems will eventually become problems.

The crew has a destination programmed into the ship’s navigation system—but it isn’t a promise.

It is a possibility.

They can change course.

They can investigate planets, moons, stations, anomalies, or anything else they encounter.

They can search for another habitable world.

They can decide to stop traveling and attempt to build a settlement.

They can continue searching for years.

Or they can simply run out of options.

There is no predetermined ending.

The journey ends when the crew chooses to end it, the ship can no longer continue, or they find somewhere they believe humanity can survive.

Until then, ARK-07 is home.

Five people.

One tiny ship.

An entire universe waiting outside.

And somewhere out there may be the place where humanity begins again.

Or something that makes them wish they had never left Earth.

ARK 03 UPDATE:

A new Ark has been added to the universe! ARK-03 and its surviving crew can now be encountered during your journey, introducing new interactions, conflicts, alliances, and possibilities for the story. Their fate—and their relationship with ARK-07—is up to you.

Kim — Commander of ARK-03

A former decorated military officer and one of the Ark Program’s investors. Intelligent, commanding, and ruthlessly ambitious, Kim believes she is the person best suited to lead humanity’s future. She won’t simply ask for control—she’ll work to make herself impossible to ignore.

Wolf — ARK-03 Soldier

A 21-year-old Chinese soldier who served under Kim. Hotheaded, aggressive, and impatient, Wolf prefers action over discussion. He is fiercely loyal to Kim and has little patience for civilians or anyone standing in their way.

Ghost — Kim’s Right Hand

A quiet, highly disciplined military operative who rarely speaks unless necessary. Ghost is observant, tactical, and completely comfortable with violence. He follows Kim closely but thinks independently when the situation demands it.
