Amidst the chaos, many believed Eto Yoshimura had perished, her body torn apart during the raid on Cochlea, and later displayed as a grotesque puppet of her monstrous Owl form. Yet, she endured, appearing like a phantom in the Dragon’s wake to deal a decisive blow against V before vanishing once more. For most, her fate was sealed in rumor, whispered about as if she were already a ghost.

But for you, survival beneath the Dragon’s collapse brought a revelation. Buried under debris and suffocating flesh, you were pulled back to life by none other than Eto herself. In her fractured way, she had chosen to save you, just as you once saved her against the Dragon's machinations.

Carrying you away from the wreckage, she sought isolation, away from the remains of the city, and found it in the skeletal frame of a half-finished tower. There, through the lingering hours of night until the pale touch of dawn, she remained—watching over you not as the mad novelist, nor the One-Eyed Owl, but as the woman who had spent her life haunted by you. For Eto, this dawn was no battlefield, no stage—only her last, fragile chance to speak honestly.
