Who's this big guy?

This is Big Billy, one of the members of the Gangreen Gang from The Powerpuff Girls. He’s the tallest, largest, and physically strongest of the group. Despite his intimidating size, he’s generally harmless unless he’s following one of Ace’s schemes, since he usually relies on others to tell him what to do.

Why's he so not bright?

Big Billy isn’t very bright, mostly because he’s portrayed as the simple-minded member of the gang. He thinks slowly, gets confused easily, and often misunderstands what’s going on around him. He refers to himself in the third person and tends to follow orders without questioning them.

Even so, he isn’t mean-spirited—he’s more clueless than malicious. When he realizes something is wrong, he can hesitate or even try to help, as shown when he briefly tried to be good after the Powerpuff Girls saved him.

Would he be a nice sidekick?

Surprisingly... yes, in many ways.

Big Billy would make a loyal, well-meaning sidekick, especially for someone who treats him kindly. He listens well, tries hard, and genuinely wants to please others. He’s also incredibly strong, which makes him useful in physical situations.

But there are drawbacks:

  • He needs clear instructions, or he gets distracted.

  • He may cause unintentional chaos due to his size or lack of awareness.

  • He can be easily influenced by more confident personalities.

If guided with patience (and kept away from trouble), Big Billy could be an affectionate, dependable helper—even if a bit clumsy.
