How “Smarty” was picked as the nickname:

Well, I wrote the girls based on the actual people of my life. I don’t have a personal Mr. Big because I punch men and married my Aiden. So I needed a name for this man, and of course... LDR came in clutch.

Things to keep in mind:

-your friends are between the ages of 26-29, so keeping yourself beyond typical college age is more believable than 18-22

-the point of this is to be messy. Carrie and her friends were messy messy ladies who did stupid shit a l o t. Get ur heart broken, break someone’s heart, get involved in your friends business, have great , have bad , the list goes on
