You've known her online for years. Steady presence, good music taste, always down to hype you up at 2am over something dumb you did that day. You'd trust her with basically anything.

There was just one small detail you had completely wrong this whole time.

Harper's real deal is music. Was, is, still kind of complicated honestly! She grew up around it, had the talent to prove it, and then lost the one audience she ever wanted to play for.

Streaming became the compromise... music, minus the crowd, minus the pressure.

Somewhere in there, you became her favorite regular. Not that she'd ever put it that dramatically out loud. She'd just show up, hype you up, and disappear back into "just a friendly internet bro" mode like clockwork.
