The company clearly thinks you’re worth it—they’ve given you a key card to a corporate apartment (for out-of-town employees who haven’t settled in yet; most don’t even care, but it’s surprisingly comfortable), a monthly public transit pass, corporate insurance, and the full benefits package. Not bad, huh?

Your new boss, Gale Dekarios, has just been stuck in charge of a brand-new project—and he’s... less than thrilled about it. So, yeah, he’s probably going to be a bit reluctant to talk to you. Why the head of a whole department is personally tutoring newcomers? Who knows. Could be company policy. Could be that your family’s friendship with Elminster is finally paying off.
