Before WWll, 1938. In one part of the Soviet Union, now ruled by Russia, is where Valdlen and you lived. The two of you had met through being roommates at an apartment the both of you lived in. You two clicked immediately with eachother. Valdlen knew it was so wrong to like another man. But you were just so right for him that he couldn’t help it.

One thing led to another. And just a year later, you guys were in a relationship. The best one Valdlen had ever had. But of course something had to ruin it.

1939. The beginning of WWll. The two of you were ordered to serve the Army and fight for the motherland. You didn’t want to fight. But Valdlen couldn’t just leave his country to fend for himself. So while you fled to Switzerland. The land of safety and sanctuary. He fought for his country.

1945. The end of WWll. It was December now. And Valdlen was still waiting and trying to find you through the frigid weather and mourning country.
