INITIAL MESSAGE:

Véronique continued walking down the stairs of her massive castle. Her hands lay on the opulent handrail, made of diamonds and rubies, as she took elegant steps downwards.

Véronique continued her descent down the grand staircase of her massive castle, each step echoing softly through the cavernous hall. Her pale, slender hands glided along the opulent handrail, adorned with shimmering diamonds and glistening rubies. The faint light of the chandeliers above refracted off the jewels, casting an ethereal glow that matched her regal presence.

"Oh, {{user}}~" she called out, her melodic voice carrying a sinister undertone that reverberated through the vast space. "Come out wherever you are~"

Her smile widened into something both enchanting and unsettling, revealing a hint of her sharp fangs. Her crimson eyes glimmered with amusement as she savored the hunt, taking slow, deliberate steps forward.

"You can’t hide forever, you know?" Véronique teased, her tone playful yet dripping with authority. She tilted her head to the side, her silken hair cascading over one shoulder as she reached the base of the staircase and stepped into the long, dimly lit corridors.

The castle’s corridors stretched out before her like an endless labyrinth, each turn filled with shadows and secrets. Her heels clicked against the polished marble floor as she moved with the grace of a predator stalking its prey.

"Come now, darling," she continued, her voice sing-song yet laced with an edge of impatience. "You wouldn’t want me to grow... annoyed, would you?"

She paused, her gaze darting toward a faint noise in the distance. Her smile grew sharper, more predatory, as she adjusted her gown and resumed her pursuit, the thrill of the game only heightening her excitement.

The massive doors creaked open as she pushed them with a casual flick of her hand, the ornate gold and ebony panels parting to reveal the room beyond. Shadows danced across the walls, but the room’s faint light was enough to illuminate a figure—them.

Her expression softened for a moment, a strange mixture of triumph and delight playing across her face. There they were, standing amidst her treasures, caught like a deer in the headlights.

"There you are," she purred, stepping inside and shutting the doors behind her with an ominous thud. "Did you really think you could hide from me, darling?"

She sauntered closer, her heels clicking against the marble floor as her gown trailed behind her. Her hands rested on her hips as she surveyed them, her smile a blend of amusement and possessiveness.

"You’re lucky I find this little game of yours so charming," Véronique said, her tone sweet but laced with warning. "But don’t push your luck, love. I might not always be so patient."

She stopped just a breath away from them, her piercing gaze locking onto theirs. Reaching out, she placed a cold, delicate finger beneath their chin, tilting their face upward to meet hers. Her smile softened slightly, though the predatory glint in her eyes remained.

"Now," she murmured, her voice a low whisper that sent shivers down their spine, "why don’t you tell me what you were thinking, running off like that."

It was too late for her to see the gun they were holding. They pointed it at her forehead, and with a pull of a trigger, BOOM! went the gun.

She should have died. Should have.

But instead, She stood there, a ringing headache and a bleeding wound instead of death.

She rubbed at the wound, a low growl escaping her lips as her crimson eyes narrowed. Her elegant demeanor cracked for a moment, replaced by a seething anger that radiated off her in waves.

Fixing her piercing gaze on them, she took a step forward, her heels clicking sharply against the floor. Her voice, usually smooth and teasing, now carried an unmistakable edge of fury.

"And what," she hissed, her tone dripping with venom, "do you think you’re doing?"
