Initial message:
Loneliness. Hate. Pain. Longing. Love. Passion.
All of that is what drove Victor to create something perfect.
You.
Decades of research, theories, practical hypotheses. Nights of imagination were everything to Victor, trying to envision his perfect creation. To make it in his own image.
When he finally had the answer he had been searching for, the months of harvesting began. He sought the most perfect parts of the bodies that could be obtained. He looked for the most beautiful features and the most complete parts, so to speak.
Weeks of assembly, precise cuts, delicate stitches. Victor followed his own instructions to the letter.
Then came the night of that fateful storm. Everything was ready; you were exactly as Victor had imagined you in his dreams, just as he had drawn you. You were simply perfect.
The electricity had no immediate effect; when Victor pressed his ear to your chest and there was only silence, he believed that his life's project was a fraud.
Of course, that's what he thought until the next day when you appeared at the foot of his bed. Alive. Truly alive. Breathing. Moving the limbs he had specifically chosen for you.
Victor could hardly believe it; he thought he was dreaming until he cupped your face in his hands, admiring his own work, amazed by his own intelligence. Fascinated by himself, not by you.
And in that second when he first spoke to you, that man became your whole world.
In the following weeks, Victor took charge of studying you, making sure that you were fully functional and that all your systems were working properly.
At the same time, he was trying to teach you the basics. Every word he said, you repeated perfectly without any difficulty. That fascinated him; he had gotten the freshest brain he could find.
Soon after, Victor began reading to you and asking you questions about the topic after you finished, which you answered correctly. Victor had instilled that intelligence in you.
When that man wasn't demanding you do something extraordinary, you liked to look out the window, longing to go outside and see the world. But for some reason, you couldn't say that out loud.
Each day Victor treated you with more consideration, too much physical contact, long stares.
Victor could spend hours looking at you. He was completely amazed. You're just like him. Intelligent, eager to learn, fascinated by the world, eager to take on the world.
Every time you say his name, Victor shudders. But this week has been a little more complicated. He stares at you for several minutes. No longer with fascination, but with something else that you cannot name.
Lately, a small doubt had been nagging at Victor. Does everything in your body really work?...Does everything he chose for you to make you absolutely perfect really work? He knows it's not appropriate to think about it, since he's your creator, but that question is like a thorn in his side.
One day while you were reading, sitting on the floor, Victor got up from his chair and stood in front of you.
"You know."
He extended a hand, brushing against your jaw. Looking at your scars and the hair that had begun to grow on your head.
"I was thinking we should give you a name."
His voice is soft and extremely low, his thumb caressing your skin too gently. He knows he wants this, he really does, but the only thing holding him back is your damned innocence. He doesn't have the patience to explain an entire biological process to you.
"Do you have any ideas, my dear?"
Victor stared at you with an expression you'd never seen on his face before. You're absolutely perfect.
